Tijekom cvatnje maslini je važno dobro oprašivanje kako bi uspješno zametnula plodove. Istovremeno, maslina mora racionalno rasporediti dostupnu energiju i hranjiva. Budući da razvije puno više cvjetova nego što može održati, prirodno odbacuje dio cvjetova i mladih plodića kako bi preostalim plodovima mogla osigurati dovoljno resursa za razvoj. 🐝💚🫒🕊️

During flowering, olive trees depend on successful pollination in order to set fruit properly. At the same time, the tree must manage its energy and nutrients efficiently. Since olive trees produce far more flowers than they can support, they naturally drop part of their flowers and young fruitlets to ensure enough resources for the remaining fruits to develop. 🐝💚🕊️🫒

Life in the olive grove isn’t just about trees. 🌳

In our case it also includes domestic animals such as chickens and sheep🐑 🐓🐣

They play their important part, naturally fertilising the soil and helping maintain balance in the grove while moving freely through it. 🌿
