The secret of our success lies in a small fields and valleys of Lastovo where our ancestors had carefully erected a vineyards by planting the first vines of Rukatac and Plavac Mali. In order to preserve century old family tradition their decsendants have started to cultivate new vineyards at 1992 with the introduction of a modern winemaking technology. On the foundation of the old wine cellar till the 2008 has grown modern equipped winery that not only revives a family production, but also offers new products and features. It is situated at the foot of the village Lastovo, area „Gornja Luka“, known as the place of the major event during the carnival days known as „cujanje Poklada“, descending of Carnival. Stainless steel vats are used for the production and storage of dry white wine and rose wine Rukatac Opolo. Slavonian oak barrels are used for traditional production of red wine Plavac Mali, and recently also for red wine Merlot. For all winelovers and those who are about to become one, we offer a wine cellar tour that include tasting of quality wines and delicious local specialties.
