I can’t say some, but in general most events stay with me long after the last guest has left. RSVP Hvar will certainly be one of them, but the difference in this one is that it was personal.
Not just because of the scale of the production, the beautiful setting or the incredible people who came together, but because of what it took to make it all happen.
First, my Dubrovnik Event team @Matea Oberan - just the two of us sometimes it feels like an army of people, and with our strength, we truly are. The person who knows that behind every beautiful moment are a hundred decisions, endless conversations, very long days and quite a few last-minute surprises. You were with me every second of the way- you showed up, stepped up and gave this project everything. I couldn’t be prouder of you.
To my AMAVERA girls, Ivana and Iva — what a journey. Three women, three businesses, three strong personalities and one shared ambition. I think we proved once again what can happen when collaboration comes before competition. I take my hat off to you after past week.
And to our extraordinary partners, suppliers and friends who believed in this project and brought their talent, time, generosity and energy to the table — thank you. Events like this are never the work of one person or one company. They’re the result of many people choosing to pull in the same direction.
Was it easy? Absolutely not.
Would we do it all over again? Ask me after I’ve had some sleep. :)
But seeing it all come together, and knowing how many brilliant people stood behind it, made every challenging moment worthwhile.
Hvar, you were something special.
