SLEEPY DANCER PROJECT
The project involves a guitar player,,a saxophone and a DJ. It was launched in 2005 by Sibenik-based DJ Hide with a view to incorporate live music into DJ sets. Over time the project evolved into a band composed of highly-experienced Croatian musicians (saxophone, guitar, percussion, vocal). Sleepy Dancer perform a jazz and funk fusion integrated into repetitive deep house and broken beat music rhythms. Through his committed work on the promotion of Bloopz music party series DJ Hide has contributed to this music genre becoming more widely known.
