ow amazing his little home town is. That's why he's 100% dedicated to promote two of Utila's most important assets: diving and nightlife, both of high quality and with his close personal touch. This approach and the high quality line ups and set ups that him and LUIS MAIER have been preparing all these years have made the SUNJAM Festival the leader underground electronic event in the region and the favoritete of tons of clubbers and top level djs all over the World. Santiago Ferrer: better known in the music world as XPANSUL, Santi has been involved in playing, promoting, producing and remixing techno and other sub genres of electronic music since the mid 90's. His experience from all those years got shape in Utila in the form of the first underground electronic monthly event to ever happen in the island, Moondust, which helped opening the ears and minds of locals, expats and tourists, preparing the terrain for the natural next step: a 100% underground electronic event which main goal is to help spread the virus of truly innovative and cutting edge techno music in the region. TRUE TYPE NIGHTS UTILA will take place once a month, on the nearest Saturday to the New Moon, and will host electronic artists from the region and abroad with a common factor: the love for a kind of sound that doesn't care about trends or hypes, whatever the sub genre, but aims to fill body and soul with the most exciting and powerfully expressive electronic sounds, thus creating the perfect vibe for some "one in a life time" dancing and tripping experiences. Our resident djs are three real TECHNO LOVERS: LUIS MAIER, RAFA VERDIAL and XPANSUL, and guest artists from all over the World will join them in selected occasions. And what better place for such a trip than the remarkable BANDO BEACH, facing Utila Bay, with a beautiful starry sky over us?
