SHACK Tapazaka The first TAPAZAKA restaurant in Hong Kong! Despite its unassuming facade, Shack Tapazaka's interior is one-of-a-kind with high ceilings and cozy ambience.

Shack Tapazaka takes its inspiration from the izakaya in Japan, combining it with tapas-style of serving to offer a unique lifestyle and social dining experience right in the heart of Hong Kong. Situated on Yiu Wa Street, one of the liveliest streets in Causeway Bay, it is also a great place to enjoy our bespoke cocktails, people-watch, and hang out. Working with raw accents like exposed concrete

walls and beams to create a minimalist yet contemporary space that enhances the striking architectural design features whilst retaining a sense of the building’s original form and personality. What is Tapazaka? Making its debut in Hong Kong, Tapazaka is a brand new social dining concept where people socialise over delectable foods in bite-sized portions and drinks. The word 'Tapazaka' derives from the Spanish tapas, a format of small-plate dining, and the Japanese zaka (酒), from izakaya (居酒屋), which means drinks. Sōchū is the featured spirit at most izakaya. At Shack Tapazaka, our mixologists ingeniously experiment with this trendy spirit to create a variety of Sōchū-based cocktails with a speak-easy twist, which can be enjoyed on their own or paired with our delicious tapazakas. The bar also steeps its own Japanese plum wine, umeshu (梅酒) and serves an array of classic Western cocktails.
