Howard Bilton a businessman from Yorkshire now living in Hong Kong, an enthusiastic wine lover and admirer of Portugal's wines especially from Alentejo region. In 2002 he joined forces with leading winemaker David Barvestock, an Australian living in Portugal to create wines that reflects the best that the country has to offer. Howard's Folly labels, designed by Joana Brito Avó, feature works of art submitted to the annual Sovereign Art Foundation Awards from either Europe or Asia. Each year the label will feature a different work of art produced by one of the finalists of The Sovereign Art Foundation Asian or European prizes.
