Due to circumstances beyond our control, we are the fifth band that has had to cancel this tour in Latin America!!
After four years of communicating with these individuals (who I will not name )
Consistently changing the dates and the co-headliners ,and after I had four promoters reach out to me personally to ask me what is going on. This tour company is not responding to their request.
Everything was great until one band after another dropped out of the Latin American tour six months ago and we have watched the fallout continue since.
I was warned at that time to be very careful of these individuals, Seeking to enrich themselves, taking money from promoters and not delivering.
Morbosidad ,Illdesposed, and several others, had all had to cancel.
Atrophy has not received a dime from the tour promoter and we have not received plane tickets!
Four days ago I was contacted by another Promoter and was asked ,if he could take over the tour.
He did not want to cancel the show he had purchased. He was willing to spend an excess of $5000 in plane tickets to bring us down for one show.
There is no way in good consciousness let him do that!!
Rather than go through all this in 30 days we are going to rebook at a later time.
(which I do not have any details out of at this time)
For all the fans who bought tickets .I am very sorry. For all the promoters who got taken I’m terribly sorry. This is never happened to us before.
This has absolutely ruined the fall schedule for the band.
It is so hard to make it these days, and have people like this take advantage of others, after Covid )I am absolutely heartbroken 🤘
