The time has come around already, and while it seems we opened our doors only last week, it’s time for us to say goodbye again at the end of another season✨🌅
We say it every year but this summer really did fly by, and we can’t thank all of you enough for the time you spent with us this season, filling the long hot days, and late late nights with so much laughter, dancing, joy, and friendship- making sure we head into winter with so many warm memories and endless giggles to look back on - it is a genuine honour to be a part of your holidays, big or small, and we hope you take as many good memories away from this season as we do!
While most of them have already scattered for the winter, we can’t say our last goodbyes without saying the biggest thank yous to the incredible group that banded together to make a truly amazing team this season- we could not be prouder, or more grateful for their tireless work all summer long
To our outstanding kitchen duo of Aristides👑 and Paris👨🏽🍳 without whom literally none of it would be possible- breakfast, lunch, dinner, Greek Night, Weddings, and everything in between- they just nod their heads and smile every time we add another layer of complicated to their day, (which we do a little too often- sorry!) roll up their sleeves and get on with it- thank you thank you thank you thank you🧡
To the absolute MVPs of the season, our wonderful Liudmyla and Svitlana, who kept the place s***k and span all summer, never letting the standard drop no matter how busy, or chaotic, or tiring everything got. Svitlana💙 joining us half way through the summer and going above and beyond to help “our family team”♥️ Our shining star Liudmyla💫communicating ENTIRELY through Google translate all summer long (paired with her incredibly unambiguous facial expressions and eye rolls) her determination and grit was utterly remarkable, her giant hugs (from such a tiny person) a genuinely golden part of each day, and to say farewell at the end of the summer, were some of the most gut wrenching goodbyes we’ve ever made- THANK YOU girls, we truly could not have done it without you, and you will always have a place here with us✨
To our little cherub (however old he gets!) Dionisi🫡 who returned to us this summer like he’d never been away- always early, always ready, always working, a solid presence to rely on day in day out- thank you! To our Līva🍷 who came by whenever she could to help us, because our team is forever- we love you, and we’re so grateful! The wonderful Nadia🖤 appearing in July and slotting right into our team like she’d always been there, bubbly and kind and willing, thank you so much for giving us your hard work and your spark, we are SO pleased to have you on our team. Our brilliant, sweet Arbie🤩 who wandered up the path in April never having carried a tray, or had a conversation in English outside of school, you were a constant source of joy and laughter all summer long, and we couldn’t be prouder, or indeed more grateful for your willingness, your team spirit, your energy, and possibly most importantly, your dancing. Watching your confidence soar with your abilities as the summer stretched on was a real privilege, THANK YOU! Riza💛our cocktail maestro, thank you for the constant creativity, the laughs, and the confidence you always bring to the team- we are so grateful for the years of hard work and energy you have spent with us, and the thought of the next season without you whilst you take on this next adventure is too strange- you will always have a place with us, and we wish you all the luck, fortitude and laughter in the world as you head off to do your National Service. And then our Olivia🦋, Miss Ripley… our sweet, funny Liv, who had a quote for every single occasion, along with an energy and warmth we wish we could bottle up and keep- we are so proud of your journey this summer and so so lucky that you decided to join our team- you filled the days with so many laughs and we couldn’t be more grateful for your endless hard work and giggles🩷
And last but by no means least, a massive thank you goes to the three amazing people that have kept the Mill up and running day by day, night by night, in house and behind the scenes, constantly upping the style, standard and service offerred. Nikos, Pascalis and Lucy ... we thank you for taking on the mantle of the Mill and allowing Spiros and I to slowly step back.. a little 😉 We love you all🩵💙🩷
Our incomparable team of entertainers, who were there every week to put on a show and spark up your evenings with music and laughter, we wouldn’t be us without them, and they make us so proud each week! The fantastic Mark, Exclusively Elton🎹, the greatest showman and consummate professional- thank you for another wonderful summer. Our beautiful, sassy, ABBA girls, Zoe🪩 and Niamh🌟… you made each Wednesday a night of genuine joy for all to be a part of, creating family memories that won’t soon be forgotten. To the dazzling, mega talented Becca🩵 and Malaidh🎤, who not only bought us our gorgeous new Fleetwood Mac show, but stepped in to the ABBA boots, and added your sparkle to our pool parties- you really did it all, with those incredible harmonies and beautiful smiles- thank you so much to the four of you, we wish you all the luck in your next adventures! And to the vivacious, hysterical, Danielle🥂, who held it all together, and made Tuesdays our new favourite day of the week, with your incredible fun, your hilarious stories, your giggles over a margarita, and your beautiful voice- you smashed it, and we hope you have the restful winter that you so deserve! And finally our incredible troupe of dancers, Vivi, Marietta, Stathis, Dionisi and Katerina, your infectious energy is just the best and we thank you so much for making our Greek Nights so full of awe and genuine fun week in, week out❤️💃🏻
So with one final thank you to every single one of you that came up the path this season, to share a drink, a meal, a song, or a smile with us all summer long- we couldn’t be more grateful for the kindness of each and every one of our guests- we wish you good health always, a wonderful winter, and truly can’t wait to see you all again next year… it’ll be here before we know it!💛🥰
