Λίγο πριν αποχαιρετίσουμε την Άνοιξη και οδεύσουμε ταχέως προς θάλασσες και ακτές, δροσιζόμαστε στην Κυκάω, με πληθώρα μπυρών όπως πάντα άλλωστε! Λίγο μέσα, λίγο έξω, κάπου στο ενδιάμεσο, δεν έχει σημασία. Καλή διάθεση, craft μπύρα, Ναπολιτάνικη προζυμένια πίτσα, μουσικές από O_Apostolo και όλα θα κυλήσουν όμορφα...

The 24 hour sourdough buns and homemade mayo get a deep umami kick from shrimp bisque, then meet chilled shrimp and wild fennel. On top, melted butter with lemon peel pours over everything, warm and aromatic. You get cool creamy shrimp, hot buttery fennel, and notes of anise in every bite.

A New England IPA with both hot side and cold side hop additions results in an intensely fruity character of lychee and passion fruit, beautifully balanced by the hops' gentle grip. Low bitterness and a smooth, medium body let those tropical notes shine without fighting the food.

Rich, bright, and a little unexpected, this pairing is ideal as summer creeps in.

Υπαρξιακές αναζητήσεις, κοινωνικοπολιτικοί σουρεαλισμοί κι ένα κατεβατό σκέψεων αναμεμειγμένων με πρωτότυπες μουσικές συνθέσεις, ουτοπικά ηχοτοπία, παράδοξα grooves, λούπες, samples και γκάιντες. Ο Βαΐτσης Χαρακοπίδης ασχολείται με τη μουσική από τα παιδικά του χρόνια. Έχει ασχοληθεί με ποικίλα μουσικά όργανα, όπως και την σύνθεση. Ιδρυτικό μέλος του συγκροτήματος ΘΡΑΞ ΠΑΝΚC, Σουρλουλού και διάφορων άλλων μουσικών σχημάτων. Έχει συμμετάσχει σε ποικίλα θεατρικά και κινηματογραφικά projects και performances.

Vaitsis Charakopidis has been engaged with traditional music since his early childhood. He has been playing a variety of musical instruments as well as being involved with musical composition. Kykao means to mix things up, even if it's seafood! Last time we mixed some local atherina with anchovies and shrimp and they where delish!!

In Naples, you call it a Cuoppo. In Patras, you drink with it a bone dry West Coast IPA, where it's extreme mouth puckering bitterness complements the salty and crispy seafood!

Perfect combo? Maybe. Politically correct? For sure not!

Have you ever imagined a smooth as hell Black DIPA, dry hooped with huge amounts of hops? Cold steeping the roasted grains for 12 hours remove any harshness bitterness but keeps all the smooth roastiness intact. Dry hopping with 30g/l of Amarillo provide a second layer of fruity juiciness!

Pours black with dark orange hues. Aroma is hop forward from the heavy use of Amarillo (orange marmalade) with a hint of toffee and some roasted notes. Taste balanced, smooth, again hop forward with some butterscotch notes. Aftertaste is long, smooth and fruity, heavily aromatic. Carbonation is low, texture oily.

The Russian Imperial Stout was brewed with an old & forgotten technique of condensing the malty and roasted flavours to the extreme of 40° plato. Aromas of dark roasted malts, almost burned biscuits, bitter chocolate with notes of dark dried fruits and licorise !
It is enjoyed fresh but it is suggested that you age it!

PPPC - Patra's Peoples Porter Community
Dark, smooth, highly enjoyable. Roasted malt, very smooth finish. From the port of Patras to your glass.

Russian Imperial Stout - Vintage 2025
Brewed with an old technique pushing malt to 40°+ plato. Dark roasted malts, almost burnt biscuits, bitter chocolate, dark dried fruits, licorice.

Low Alcohol Coffee Stout
All the rich coffee stout flavor with low ABV. Cold steeped roasted malts, high mash temp, gentle fermentation, then loads of coffee beans at 0°C.

Black DIPA
Smooth Black DIPA, cold steeped grains (12 hours, no harshness), dry hopped with 30g/l Amarillo. Pours black with dark orange hues. Hop forward (orange marmalade, toffee), oily texture, low carbonation.
