There’s something to be said for an entrance, a first impression, a gateway to discovering something new, unexplored. Sappho’s is unassuming, you’d walk right past us if you didn’t know, we like that, the mystery, what lies in plain sight yet conceals the nature of where we are and what is housed inside. A red door, a hallway that opens onto a sweeping harbour view, fresh flowers in a giant pink vase, the smell of leather and the kind of music that makes it impossible to sit still.
