📍 Hike through history: The Tigani Peninsula in Mani is a rugged, "frying pan"-shaped outcrop home to the ruins of a legendary 13th-century Byzantine fortress.

Hike Details
• Duration: The walk from the starting point to the castle ruins takes about 30 - 40 minutes one way. A full round trip, including exploration of the ruins and churches like the Panagia Agitria, is recommended to take around 3 - 4 hours.
• Difficulty: Rated as moderate. While the slopes are slight, the terrain consists of sharp, uneven limestone and is entirely exposed to the sun with no drinking water available on the trail

Given the intense Maniot sun and the demanding terrain, carrying water and an ice-cold Gero Grosso coffee is essential, so are a couple of Gero Grosso pies and wraps.
