Επίσκεψη στο Δασκαλιό!
Το Team Astrolouloudo βρέθηκε στο πεδίο των ανασκαφών που πραγματοποιούνται από το Υπουργείο Πολιτισμού (Εφορεία Αρχαιοτήτων Κυκλάδων) και τη Βρετανική Σχολή Αθηνών, σε συνεργασία με το Ινστιτούτο Κύπρου, στο μικρό πυραμιδοειδές νησί του Δασκαλιού. Μαζί με την Κέρο, στέκεται εδώ και χιλιάδες χρόνια στην καρδιά του Αιγαίου, στο επίκεντρο του Κυκλαδικού Πολιτισμού.
Κάθε χρόνο, με την ολοκλήρωση της ανασκαφικής περιόδου, οι διευθυντές του προγράμματος Michael Boyd και Εύη Μαργαρίτη προσφέρουν σε κατοίκους και επισκέπτες μια μοναδική ξενάγηση και ενημέρωση στον χώρο των ανασκαφών. Βαθιά συγκίνηση και δέος να πατάς το χώμα που φυλάει την ιστορία και τη σιωπή ενός τόπου ιερού.

A Visit to Daskalio!
Team Astrolouloudo had the privilege of visiting the ongoing archaeological excavations carried out by the Greek Ministry of Culture (Ephorate of Antiquities of the Cyclades) and the British School at Athens, in collaboration with the Cyprus Institute, on the small pyramid-shaped islet of Daskalio. Together with Keros, it has stood for thousands of years at the heart of the Aegean Sea and at the very center of Cycladic civilization.
Each year, following the completion of the excavation season, project directors Michael Boyd and Evi Margaritis welcome local residents and visitors for a guided tour and presentation of the archaeological site.
It is a profoundly moving experience to walk upon the ground that safeguards the history and silence of a place once considered sacred.
Our heartfelt thanks to Michael Boyd and Evi Margaritis for this unforgettable and truly magical experience.
