Family-owned Apartments & Restaurant. A serene, private retreat close to beautiful beaches and views.

Apartments Mathraki Resort started operating in 1979 with a small unit of 2 apartments. Owners George and Maria Argyros lived in New York and were working in Manhattan restaurants and dinners. When they returned to Corfu they had only one thing in mind: to create a job that would keep them there for good. The business got expanded with 22 more apartments, a swimming pool and a stone mill. The addi

tion of the small tavern completed a beautiful holiday resort and brought them back to the job they love most: cooking! The menu includes local and international dishes prepared home-style as served for their own family. Speaking of family, sons Nikos and Dimitris also work for the family business. The name 'Mathraki' comes from a little island North-West of Corfu. It is a small paradise with a population of 80 to 100 people and home of the Argyros family.

“What a pleasure it is here. The small-scale apartment resort is run by father, mother and 2 sons. Always cheerful and always willing to help you. You can also enjoy delicious food there. We have actually never eaten out because the food is delicious, especially the special ones that they make about 3 times a week. The apartments are very clean and the beds are very comfortable. So really recommend. You can also book directly, which is a lot cheaper, provided the tickets are not too expensive. There are a lot of repeaters here and that says enough.”
