It’s that time again…

The pilgrimage north. The beers, the chaos, the reunions, the late-night pours, the unforgettable hangs.

For the 8th year in a row, 7 Island Brewery is heading back to Copenhagen for another edition of Mikkeller Beer Celebration — and honestly, it still feels unreal every single time.

What started as a dream turned into a tradition.
A week where brewers, friends, and beer lovers from every corner of the world come together to celebrate the culture that connects us all.

Eight consecutive years of MBCC means unlimited memories, countless friends , amazing collaborations, epic stories, and beers shared across bars, bottle shares, festivals, and streets filled with craft beer madness.

We’re beyond grateful to once again stand alongside some of the best breweries on the planet and pour our beers in the city that becomes the center of the craft beer universe for one magical week.

To everyone who has supported us through this journey — thank you.
To old friends and new faces — come raise a glass with us.
To Copenhagen — we’re ready to make more memories.

First time at … and what a blasting week it has been. 💥🇭🇺🍻

Huge thanks to the amazing organizers for putting together such a beautiful festival, to every beer lover that stopped by our booth, to all the friends we shared laughs, beers and stories with, and of course to all our brewbrothers from around the world that made this gathering feel like home.

There’s something special when people from every corner of the craft beer universe meet under the same sky, raising glasses for the same passion.

Chris Pap behind the taps served beer like it was written in some ancient prophecy… and the love he received back was overwhelming. Every pour came with conversations, smiles, hugs, chants, and moments we’ll remember for a long time.

Budapest, you gave us way more than a festival. You gave us memories, friendships, and a perfect week from start to finish.

They said beyond the northern frostlands, past the endless corn deserts of the Midwest, there was a hidden reactor buried deep in the wasteland of Iowa…
A place where rogue brewers engineered liquid hop fuel powerful enough to melt minds and ignite engines!!

After surviving the chaos of in the frozen badlands of North Dakota, the crew of 7 Island Brewery continued their pilgrimage across the American wasteland.
War rigs thundered through endless fields of corn stretching beyond the horizon like radioactive oceans beneath a burning sky.

Dust storms swallowed the highways.
Fuel was low.
Hop reserves almost depleted.

But rumors spoke of a tribe of master brewers hidden within the industrial ruins of .

They called themselves:

DIMENSIONAL BREWING.

Not ordinary brewers…
Engineers of interdimensional hop mutation.

Inside their underground reactor chambers, glowing green liquids pulsed through rusted tubes while experimental yeast strains evolved in toxic containment vessels. The air smelled of diesel, citrus, and annihilation.

The moment the crews met, the alliance was forged instantly — united by heavy music, endless roads, hop obsession, and the madness of the wasteland.

Together they constructed a new weapon.

A liquid reactor powered by Citra, Simcoe & Cryo Pop.
A Double IPA forged for the road warriors of the apocalypse.

Violently aromatic.

Dangerously unstable.

They named it:

DIMENSIONAL HOP RAGE

A mutant fuel brewed somewhere between friendship, chaos, and the end of the world.

Triple New England IPA – Triple Dry Hopped 💥💥💥

"Deep in the drowned forest — where light rots and roots feed on the dead —
something ancient stirs.

The Forager does not walk.

It spreads. It coils. It consumes.
A mass of vine and hunger, crowned in thorns and shadow."

From the swamp it tears the Hop-Skulls — swollen relics of resin and decay.

Citra. Cryo Pop. Strata.

Ripped from the earth. Crushed into pulp. Bled into something unholy.

But this ritual is not bound to one land.
It was forged across oceans — in smoke-filled brewhouses,
in chaos, in laughter, in the clash of kegs and the roar of distant crowds.

With our Brewbrothers from Rochester, Minnesota,
we carved this path — side by side, glass by glass —
a bond rooted deeper than soil, stronger than time.

Now the ritual is complete.

A Triple New England IPA — thick as swamp water,
dripping with resin, saturated with fury.

Drink — and become part of the harvest. 🌿💀🍺

Charon has taken his toll and guides it through the black waters, beyond the veil.

Toward the silent halls of Hades it drifts —
sealed in charred oak, soaked in bourbon, left in eternal dusk.

There, time is not measured… only endured.

There, it is not resting… it is becoming.

When it returns, it will be darker.

🎤 PHANTOM OF THE HOPERA 🎤

From the underground stages of Chicago to the shores of the Ionian Sea…
this story has been years in the making.

We first crossed paths with our brothers from in the chaos of festivals around the world.

From shared pours and loud nights…
to finally stepping into their home in Elk Grove Village, brewing side by side —
that’s where the bond was sealed.
Not just collaborators.
Family.

Now, the ritual continues on our side of the world.
A DDH New England Double IPA brewed with Citra, Strata & Mosaic —
bursting citrus light, layered dank depth, and a wild tropical symphony…
all channeled through a cursed microphone!!

This is more than a collab.

This is years of friendship, brewed into one voice.

A voice that crossed oceans.
A presence that never faded.
A bond that only grew stronger.

🎤 The Phantom is always performing.

Find it across Europe… in the selves and fridges of our usual suspects.

where the Phantom still roams,

Another Perfect Lager Sunday.....🍻🤘🏼🔥

This one goes back to last year.

We first met the guys from St. Paul at Foolers Ball in North Dakota. It was one of those moments where things just click instantly—no planning, just good vibes and a shared love for big beers.

On our way back through the Midwest, we stopped by their brewery— —and started talking about a collab. The idea was simple: when the time is right, we go all in.

Now that time has come.

On our side, we wanted to push things as far as we could.

We brewed a Triple NEIPA—something we haven’t done in a while—and for the first time, we went with triple dry-hopping during fermentation.

We used Citra, HBC 630, and Cryo Pop, aiming for something as big and expressive as possible.

We didn’t just triple dry-hop the Lupulus!

We massacred it!!

37 grams per liter.
Absolutely ridiculous.

At that point, it stops being about balance—it’s about seeing how far you can take it.

A proper green hop bloodbath.

This is also the first time Barrel Theory is collaborating with a European brewery, which makes this one even more special for us.

No balance… yet fully balanced.

No mercy.

Dry-hopped to oblivion.

You asked for hops.

We slaughtered them.

We brought a massacre.
