Cinque Wine & Deli Monastiraki is a cozy, family owned place, featuring greek wine tasting experiences for wine veterans and wine newbies alike, located in the heart of Athens' historic center. We have a selection of over 30 labels and many tasting experiences that allow you to discover the heart of Greece. Both our wine list and our food menu have PGI or PDO certified items, expertly curated by our oenologist and sommeliers. We invite you all as our guests to savor our overflowing cheese and charcuterie platters, delectable panini, tasty salads and much more. A wine tasting is not only about choosing wines.

It is about understanding where they come from, why they taste the way they do and how they connect with Greek food, places and people.
We were delighted to welcome the students and teachers of Lycée de Rouffach from Alsace, France, to Cinque Wine & Deli Monastiraki for an educational journey through the Greek vineyard.
Together, we explored indigenous Greek grape varieties, different wine regions, tasting techniques, food pairings and the stories behind every glass.
Their curiosity, knowledge and enthusiasm turned the tasting into a genuine exchange between two wine cultures, Alsace and Greece.
This is what our daily tastings are all about: discovering Greece through its wines, one glass and one story at a time.
