Bars are not shaped by tables, walls, or decoration.

They are built day by day by the people behind them by their energy, their passion, their mood, and the love they pour into every moment. ❤️

New on the list.

Savagnin from Jura, a grape and region shaped by centuries of winemaking tradition.
Face B by Les Bottes Rouges is layered, saline, quietly oxidative, and full of the energy that makes Jura wines so compelling.

One of those bottles we opened and immediately knew belonged at Gamay.

New on the list: “Croix Pendet.”

Clos Bateau is the project of Sylvie de Visser and Thierry Klok, who left the restaurant world in Amsterdam for Beaujolais in 2019 to farm old vines in Lantignié with a deeply hands-on, low-intervention approach.
The domaine works organically, with indigenous yeasts, no fining or filtration, and a real focus on biodiversity in and around the vineyards.

“Croix Pendet” comes from a granite-rich parcel on the border of Lantignié and Régnié. Semi-carbonic maceration and ageing in old Burgundy barrels give the wine both energy and depth dark berries, herbs, graphite, earth, and a mineral backbone that keeps everything precise.

Some producers don’t chase attention, they earn trust, vintage after vintage.

Domaine Vincent Paris is one of those names. Quietly consistent, precise, and always true to its style, this is Rhône you can come back to with confidence.

The 2021 Saint-Joseph “Les Côtes” is now available on our wine list ❤️

Tiny allocation. Big energy.📣

From Pupillin, in the heart of the Jura, we just received a few bottles from Tony Bornard, one of the most compelling new-generation growers in the region.
After taking over the family domaine from his father, Philippe Bornard, Tony has shaped a clear direction: farming organically and biodynamically, working without additives, and focusing on wines that are vibrant, precise, and full of life.
The vineyards, rooted in Jura’s classic marl soils, give wines with tension, lift, and a strong sense of place.
Expect funky light reds like Ploussard and Trousseau, and whites that are saline, mineral, and electric.

These bottles are rare. They disappear fast.
We got some. Not much.

Come drink them while they last. 🤘🏻

10 years of 🍇

A decade of shaping the wine scene, of telling stories that matter, of bringing honesty, passion, and knowledge to the forefront of how we understand and enjoy wine.

We’ve watched GRAPE grow into something truly special a magazine that didn’t just follow the conversation, but helped redefine it. And along the way, it’s been a real joy and honor to see our own .pappas be part of that journey over the past years.

There’s something deeply moving about seeing people in Greece embrace wine with such sincerity — to honor it, to question it, to celebrate it, and to share it.

To GRAPE: thank you for everything you’ve given to the community.

Cheers to the next 10 years 👌🏼
