A small organic tea plantation in Guria, Georgia run by three generations of brilliant Georgian women.
🌿 The history of tea in Georgia dates back to when the first tea plants were brought to Georgia in the 19th century by Prince Mihae Dadiani, who discovered them during his travels in China. Initially grown as an ornamental plant, the cultivation of tea soon spread throughout the country, aided by the favorable climate and fertile soil. Over time, Georgia's tea industry blossomed, and today, the country is known for its unique and aromatic teas, including black, green, and herbal varieties. Georgians have developed their own tea culture, with traditional brewing methods and a focus on preserving the distinct flavors and qualities of each tea.
