By the way, a quick reminder: we’re still SNOBS!
We tirelessly taste wines - sometimes dozens a day - just to find the most exciting bottles for you. In our autumn menu update we’ve added 15 fantastic wines that have won experts’ hearts and, of course, stolen ours.
Let’s start with far-flung places. The legendary, zesty New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough Sun.
Three rare diamonds of South African winemaking - a 2014 vintage reserve sparkling, an incredibly aromatic and richly flavored dry white Viognier limited to just 689 bottles, and an unusual, lightly saline-herbal, easy-drinking Orange.
We’ve also added a classic, aged Spanish sparkling - Cava.
Back to Georgia and the sparkling theme: the airy, pristine rosé pét-nat Le Canon Du Coach from Ori Marani sits alongside two funky pét-nats from Wet Dog, which expand our SNOBS Collection.
We keep falling for Disveli Estate: three brand-new, just-bottled wines have joined our list - an elegant amber Khikhvi, a rare Mtsvane from the volcanic soils of Meskheti, and a delightfully berry-driven red Shavkapito–Pinot Noir!
We’re also proud to feature wines from Anemo, a name you’ll find in top Michelin-starred restaurants worldwide. For you, we chose a fresh-vintage Rkatsiteli with delicate oak aging, and a canonical red blend, Aleksandrouli–Mujuretuli, from mountainous Racha.
We could talk about wine forever, but it’s much better to come and taste for yourself.
Wait...Two new sakes! A classic one from Hiroshima, and a unique aged sake from 1999 (!) - caramel, almond, gentle dried-fruit notes, and umami. We’re serving it by the glass.
And don’t forget: you can not only enjoy a glass at the SNOBS, but also take a bottle (or two) to go - with a nice discount.
