Well, this week marks the start of something new.....

- We have completed on the lease!
- Tom and his team now have keys and are working tirelessly to get the pub open as soon as possible
- Furniture deliveries are beginning to happen
- An incredible Head Chef has been appointed from a very reputable establishment
- A Bar Manager is now in place and is very committed to The Fox
- The new signage will be installed this week or next
- The kitchen and cellar refurbishments have now begun
- The license has been finalised and approved

No opening date set in stone yet but let me assure you....... it's sooooo close! 🫣

Looking forward to welcoming you all back to The Fox Inn- which we hope is now the pub that our little village deserves 🫶 it's the beginning of something very special for Stockton on the Forest 🦊

We want to thank each and every one of you who has supported, helped and enthused about the pub over the last few weeks- you've made it all worth it ☺️ it's been a labour of love, but we wouldn't change any part of the experience, we are so proud of the refurbishment!

I'm going to keep this page open so we can keep you all up to date with opening dates and news etc.

The finished art work has now been finalised and put up using vintage frames, some you may recognise from the pub - nothing like an upcycling project to be sustainable- we even managed to con the men into helping! 😂🤭

We may have had pizza and wine with our families on Sunday outside The Fox to celebrate coming to the end of our renovation- very soon Tom will have the keys and it's over to him! 🫶
We are down to a very small snagging list now, and it's all been worth it, we've loved every minute of it....... well, mostly! 🫣😂

We are absolutely thrilled with the transformation of both the ladies and gents toilets- they have turned out so much more wonderful than we could have ever imagined! Selfie worthy now! 🫶
