We're mega excited to be running room 2 for Herbal Mafia 20th birthday part 1: Mungo's Hifi & Aziza Jaye (https://fb.me/e/4cRjqG7mV) this month, helping them celebrate their 20th year putting on events.
Room 2 Hosted by MASHED special guest DJs
Joining us at Mashed in the front bar along side Tinkermuffin and some of the Irie Vibes crew, we have some very special DJs playing back to back for one night only:
Jinx In Dub (Joss Jinx) – You might well already have absolutely had it to one of Joss's incredible jungle, breakbeat and dub heavy sets in the Fortress at Beatherder, at Boomtown, Solfest or even Glastonbury festival. Famous for blending the best of Jamaican reggae with the heaviest bass – if Joss can't get you bouncing no one can. We are honoured to have him join us to spin some tunes in York ,and at The Crescent, for the very first time.
Gella - West Yorkshire's finest DJ and producer 'Gella ' has caused a big stir in the Jungle/ DNB scene with his unique style of DNB with a classic twist – just perfect for MASHED. His record label Super Sharp recordings has seen him collaborating with Bristol stalwarts Jungle Cakes and one of our regular Herbal Mafia legends Nicky Blackmarket. Not to be missed.
Sanscrpyt – We've been honoured to have Sanscrpyt grace our decks before at MASHED, but you may also have heard his eclectic mix of beats and bhangra when he's played in the Trash Manor and the Snug at Beatherder Festival, Drink in Hedben Bridge, or Canteena in Lancaster. Hailing from Blackburn, this Punjabi pirate has the most diverse and incredile music collection and always plays a blinder. Great to have you joining us again Sanny!
These three lads go way back and it's the first time they have played together in years – trust us when we say they are excited as we are about getting the gang back together – it will defo go off!!!

We will be starting at our usual time of 8pm this month and also wanted to let you know that there will be no free entry to Mashed. Advance Tickets are £15 or £20 on the door! Get your tickets now!
