Since taking over this country pub our first step was to introduce a fantastic fresh food, locally sourced menu. We are passionate about creating superb food & drink - topped with extremely warm hospitality. A real destination place for everyone to visit and take in our breath taking picturesque views of Kirkham Abbey. We have tried to create an atmosphere that makes all our guests feel as though they are in a home from home. The building itself is super quirky which we absolutely love. Over the coming months we will be giving the place a facelift whilst remaining true to its roots whilst working with its original charming features, such as the open fire places & exposed stone walls.

✨WE HAVE SOME RATHER WONDERFUL NEWS TO SHARE! ✨

We're absolutely delighted to announce that The Stone Trough Inn has been named a Regional Finalist in The Wedding Industry Awards 2027!

And there's something that makes this news even more special…

We only began developing our wedding business in November 2024!

In less than two years, our beautiful Yorkshire country inn at Kirkham Abbey has earned recognition among the region's wedding venues, and we couldn't be prouder.

Every wedding is different. Every couple has their own story, their own dreams and their own idea of the perfect day.

We love helping bring those dreams to life.

One of the things our couples particularly enjoy is having The Stone Trough Inn exclusively to themselves, surrounded by the people they love, celebrating in their own way.

And with the beautiful ruins of Kirkham Priory on our doorstep, we're rather fortunate to call this little corner of Yorkshire home.

To every couple who has celebrated with us, thank you for trusting us with such an important day.
