We were delighted to present performances from and , both delving into a rich variety of musical traditions.
🎶 Gamelan Sekar Petak offered a fascinating insight into Javanese music, while Tangram explored the meeting of Chinese and Western styles💫

💫The season finale in the Minster is back! The brilliant University Choir and Symphony Orchestra join forces with The 24 Choir in the beautiful York Minster.⛪✨

🎶This night of musical brilliance features a captivating selection of works written at the very end of the lives of some of the greatest composers in history.🎶

This is certainly not one to miss and we cannot wait to end our season with such a brilliant night.

🎶✨What a triumph for the amazing Student Ensembles involved in the Student Showcase last Friday! The line-up included a ca****la group Vox, Gospel Choir Zamar and Animas!
Our students showed off their exceptionally talented selves in a night of fabulous varied and glittering music. A huge well done to all involved!🎶🎤

As usual, the University Jazz Band did not disappoint! Their concert flourished the concert hall with a colourful and celebratory evening of historical pioneers of Jazz, in particular performing the music of the bandleader, composer and performer Sun Ra. What a night!🎶✨
