**VOTE NOW** - Well it's that time of year again when we usually rally the people of Acomb to vote for us in the YorkMix choice awards......however not this year......some say we are boycotting them after York mix waited less than 30 minutes to email after Englands heartbreaking semi final defeat with an email that read 'England might be out but here's what we have going on'....too soon folks.....but the truth is that with 4 small people to keep alive over that 15 week summer holiday we had (think that's how long it was) it passed us by....however we wanted to give our backing to Forty Five Vinyl Cafe .....owned by our friends and regulars Rebecca and Ian the cafe and listening room is an amazing place for live music.....based on their travels to the US and their love of country music it's a place to enjoy great food, great drink and incredible music in a intimate setting.....they also do infamous toasties, sell old and new vinyl as well as having a rather impressive collection of memorabilia that they ran out of room for at home......and if that's not enough of a reason to vote then they are amazing people too who deserve your votes.....check out their instagram page for upcoming events and links to vote...they are nominated in the best cafe, best venue and best customer experience cateogries.....and whilst your voting check out Art Of Protest for best event after the wonderful work with as well as local businesses such as 𝗡𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘀 𝗕𝘆 𝗟𝗶𝘃 💅🏼 and Simon Taylor who are all worthy of your support!
