The latest release in our 10th Birthday Series has arrived — and things are getting a little darker 👀

Introducing Shadow Signal, our collaboration with Amundsen Brewery, inspired by the haunting world of Norwegian artist and illustrator Theodor Kittelsen. Known for his eerie depictions of trolls, folklore and mysterious dark forests, Kittelsen’s work provides the perfect inspiration for this decadent brew.

Expect layers of rich chocolate, toasted marshmallow and indulgent biscuit, finished with a gentle smoky character that evokes cold nights gathered around a roaring campfire.

Brewing b**r takes plenty of CO₂. But what if we could make less of it, buy less of it, and save money in the process? 🤔

When rising CO₂ prices started putting pressure on the business, we began looking for a more sustainable way to operate.

With support from City of York Council and York & North Yorkshire Growth Hub, we secured grant funding through the Business Sustainability Programme towards new nitrogen generation technology.

The result? An investment that's expected to reduce our CO₂ emissions by around 900 tonnes over the next 10 years, while saving Brew York an estimated £500,000 in CO₂ costs.

The Growth Hub supported us throughout the process, from identifying the funding opportunity and reviewing our application through to helping with the technical requirements.

It's a great example of how the right support can help turn an ambitious sustainability idea into a practical investment for the future.

🍻 LEEDS INTERNATIONAL B**R FESTIVAL — WHAT A WEEKEND! 🍻
We’ve been looking back through the photos from an incredible few days at Leeds International B**r Festival — and what a time we had! 📸

🇩🇰 BREW YORK IN COPENHAGEN! 🇩🇰
We had a brilliant weekend in Copenhagen, catching up with some of our fantastic Danish stockists and bringing a few Brew York favourites along for the ride ✈️

We’ve got new keg lines pouring at London Pub and Frederiksberg Ølbar, and it was fantastic to see Coney selling out at Føtex! 🛒👀

We also spent Saturday pouring at the To Øl x BRUS Street Party Festival, alongside an amazing line-up of breweries from across the world 🌍

A huge thank you to To Øl, BRUS and Premium B**r & Beverages for hosting us and for all their support in the Danish market. And, of course, thank you to everyone who came to say hello, enjoyed a Brew York b**r and continues to support us overseas ❤️🇩🇰
