As the year winds down to a close, so do the doors of The New Inn.
It is with the heaviest of our hearts that we must announce that it is time for us to say our goodbye..
The past 5 years have been a rollercoaster full of emotions. Times are tough for small businesses especially in the hospitality industry. Unfortunately COVID, cost of living crisis, the 2020 flood, economic instabilities due to recent wars, and all the ups and downs that everyone is experiencing today has meant that we have been struggling to fight the “fires” that are ongoing.
It has been too much for our little business to bear and as a result it is no longer sustainable for us to continue the way things are now.
Our Thank You list is long, so we will keep it simple: thank you to every single person who stepped through our doors - each guest, employee last and present, our farmers, vendors, and purveyors. We have learned so much from each one of you. ❤️
As we bid farewell to this year, we reflect on the outstanding support of our team and customers.
