Owners Sandra & Danny Jimminson were trained at the Savoy Hotel in London and after gaining further experience working in Switzerland, France and other high profile London restaurants, decided to settle close to where Danny grew up on the border of Nottinghamshire & Leicestershire. Awarded Best Gastropub in the East Midlands by the Metro national Newspaper, Best hospitality

Now celebrating our 10th anniversary at the Hammer & Pincers, we have just completed an extensive refurbishment program, with new decor, new furniture & a change in direction with our menu. We pride ourselves in sourcing some of the finest local ingredients from Loughborough and the surrounding areas. Everything is made in house from Ice creams and sorbets to the butter we serve with our daily baked bread selection.
