Looking for a last minute gift?

In addition to food and household essential our little shop also stocks a lovely little collection of giftware featuring some wonderful products from Hawthorn Handmade and the BrambleWood Soap Co. of Dorset.

Our little shop will be opening next week - please give our new page a like and a share so we can spread the word.

If you know anybody who currently uses the village shop but isn't on social media please do let them know that a number of services will still be available locally!

There is loads of work going on behind the scenes to ensure a long term solution for the shop in Wylye but for the immediate future we will be opening a small larder at the pub to ensure continued local pressance.

Our doors will open on Tuesday 1st, providing basic food & household supplies and maintaining local services such as dry cleaning, prescription collection and a continued partnership with Manor farm butchers..

Opening hours are from midday until 9 Monday to Thursday and from 10-9 Friday, Saturday & Sunday.

This spring David & Jet are going to be attempting the West Highland way, again raising money for the wonderful Wylye Valley Disabled Children's Charity!

Following up on last years coast 2 coast triumph he will be embarking 154km from Malingavie to Fort William.

We managed to raise over £1000 last year for this wonderful cause!

This year to make things a bit simpler we will have collection pots available at both the Bell and the Carriers but are also encouraging our supporters from further afield to donate directly via the charities total.giving page - please do help us support their amazing work!

There is a meeting at the Wylye Village Hall tonight to discuss the long term future of the Wylye village shop and how to continue vital services (prescription collection etc) in the foreseeable future.
