Acrefair, you’ve absolutely smashed it.

From the staff to all the customers at The Oddfellows Arms — thank you.Your kindness, your generosity, your big chaotic hearts… it all added up to something truly special.

There are so many people to thank, so if I miss anyone, blame the cider, larger or lack of sleep and please tag them.

This weekend we’re showing exactly what this community is made of — generosity, good humour, and the ability to turn absolutely anything into a competition.

We’ve been asked by The Mill Inn to help raise money for Rupert’s Rainbow, and of course we said yes. Oddies loves a good cause almost as much as we love shouting “GO ON THEN” at the bar.

🧠 FRIDAY 12th — Charity Quiz Night
Starts around 19:30‑ish (you know how we operate).
💷 £2 per person — half to Rupert’s Rainbow, half to the winning team.
Expect:
- At least one team arguing over a question from 1994
- Someone confidently wrong
- Someone quietly right
- And a team name that makes us question humanity

⚽ ALL WEEKEND — Football Cards
Four cards on the go:
- Three with cash prizes 💰
- One with a hamper of goodies 🧺
Perfect for anyone who loves football, or just loves winning things without breaking a sweat.

🎯 SUNDAY 14th — Darts Knockout
Starts 13:30‑ish.
💷 £5 per person — winner gets half the pot, the rest goes to Rupert’s Rainbow.
Runner‑up gets 3 FREE pints, which is basically a trophy you can drink.

Expect flying darts, flying banter, and at least one person claiming “that board’s crooked.”

2026 PREMIER LEAGUE DARTS FINAL – 19:00

The O2 packed. Arrows flying. At least one bloke dressed as a banana. Standard.

Players doing the usual: three warm‑up darts, dramatic walk‑on, pretending they meant every shot.

Crowd chanting things your nan must never hear.
Someone will miss a double and glare at the board like it owes them money.

At The Oddies: louder than the O2, cheaper pints, more chaos.
