It is with huge regret that I need to announce that my time at the Golden Lion Coedpoeth has come to an end 😔

I apologise to everyone for the short notice. This decision has been terribly tough on me and probably the wrong one. 😪

I've thoroughly enjoyed meeting all the customers and i will take some great memories with me.

Sadly I've been unable to focus my whole attention on the kitchen recently due to external factors and this has affected my work.

I really hope to see you all again.

Many thanks to the staff and management for giving me the chance to make something happen at this wonderful place.

Hello Everyone. Hope you've all had a good week 😊

This Friday at the Golden Lion Coedpoeth there is a large funeral taking place and it is likely to be a well attended.

Due to the likelihood of it being busy I will be serving Pizzas only on this night.

The full menu will be running again on Saturday and Sunday.

Hello again everyone and sorry for the absence.

Ill be back at the Golden Lion Coedpoeth this weekend starting tonight with some new menu items.

Looking forward to seeing you all again.

As you can see there's gonna be breakfast items aswell as Jacket Potatoes and Subs on the menu. These will be available from opening until 5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

There's a couple of new Pizzas on the menu and these are available from 5pm Friday, Saturday and Sundays.

It is with huge disappointment that I have to announce that I cannot attend the Golden Lion Coedpoeth this weekend.

I'm really really sorry to let you all down again.

At the current time I can't commit to attending due to several personal factors that needs addressing before I can fully concentrate on the Pub.

Once again I'm really sorry and I hope to see you all soon.

Unfortunately I won't be doing food at the Golden Lion Coedpoeth this weekend due to a family event. I will be back the following weekend.

Better news is that there will be some new additions to the menu going forward.

I'll keep you posted with the new menu.

Festive Burgers and Loaded Festive Fries are on the menu today, aswell as Pizzas 🍕 Burgers 🍔 and Dirty Fries 🍟.

And don't forgot tomorrow is the Winter Warmer Event here where you can enjoy some Roast Pork or Turkey Baps whilst watching the entertainment.

Today is Loaded Roasters day at the Golden Lion Coedpoeth.

Come down and watch the footy on the screens or sit back and chill with some warm food.

Festive Burgers 🍔 and Festive Fries 🍟 are available throughout the day and food will be served up until 8pm.

Hello Everyone 👋
Food will be available all weekend starting tonight from 5pm at the Golden Lion Coedpoeth.

Starting tomorrow there will also be a couple of new additions for you to sample in preparation for the Winter Warmer event next weekend.

I'll be making some Festive Burgers- Sausage meat wrapped in streaky bacon, served on a brioche bun with a caramelised red onion chutney. Topped with pigs in blankets.

There will also be Festive Loaded and Dirty Fries- Fries topped with Pigs in blankets, Gravy and Stuffing.

Come and sample them this weekend before the full Festive menu on the 17th December.
