So just like that it's been 1 year since taking over Lark. I have been here for every shift and (hopefully) greeted every customer. I have made a shed load of Spicy Margaritas and Happy Hour cocktails. Doubled the cocktail menu, and done a lot of DIY.

The first few weeks were full of highs and lows. There were issues with the premises that became apparent. Also, I know not all people like change, and change of ownership for a business can be unsettling. But all I could and can do is be true to myself and row my own boat.

However, far more importantly and enduringly, in the first weeks I met amazing new people, who I can count as regulars a year later.

There is still so far to go and so many more people to serve for the first time. Thanks to everyone who has bought a drink and come back for a second visit. Thanks for giving me the chance to grow into the space. The support you give a little independent business by coming through the door is immeasurable.

A little reminder to the Worthing massive of our Happy Hour. It's on today from 5 to 7pm, all cocktails are £7.

There is no need to buy 2 of the same drink (unless you want to). And every cocktail we have on the menu is in the offer.

Thanks as always to Lucy 🎨 Cocktails & Canvases with Lucy 🖌 for another stellar night of relaxed painting. There is always a great atmosphere and community feel. To top it all everyone goes home with a mini Van Gogh to hang on their wall. It's a win win.
