When making cocktails it is very important to colour coordinate your wardrobe with the drinks.

Here we have a classic line up of deliciousness. But true fans may spot a sneaky new member in the mix. Tall, autumnal and refreshing. At the moment we have a working title of Gingerman Spritz. But suggestions are always welcome.

We spent a night coming up with a new autumnal special. The final result was so f-ing delicious that I drank it. Then I remembered I should probablt photograph it and post. I should have also probably done a fancy reel with some jump cuts and text animation.

So, here is a picture of an almost finished Maple Grove cocktail special, next to a sign with its ingredients 🍁 🍸

Autumn the best of all seasons!

Someone's earning their tips tonight. 🍸

So just like that it's been 1 year since taking over Lark. I have been here for every shift and (hopefully) greeted every customer. I have made a shed load of Spicy Margaritas and Happy Hour cocktails. Doubled the cocktail menu, and done a lot of DIY.

The first few weeks were full of highs and lows. There were issues with the premises that became apparent. Also, I know not all people like change, and change of ownership for a business can be unsettling. But all I could and can do is be true to myself and row my own boat.

However, far more importantly and enduringly, in the first weeks I met amazing new people, who I can count as regulars a year later.

There is still so far to go and so many more people to serve for the first time. Thanks to everyone who has bought a drink and come back for a second visit. Thanks for giving me the chance to grow into the space. The support you give a little independent business by coming through the door is immeasurable.

See you soon 🍸
