Grand Centrals manager and resident sound engineer - Stuart Campbell - began
his career in music at Guildford University in 1989 where he studied live/studio engineering. His live experience has seen him work some of the most prestigious venues and events in London including the Islington Festival for 3 years in succession, The Forum in Kentish Town, The Garage in Highbury corner, The Borderline in Barfly Camden and House Engineer at Bagley's club in Kings Cross. Studio experience saw Stuart as resident engineer at Jacob's Studios, Black Barn and Chipping Norton after which he went freelance, recording and mixing sessions at Abbey Road, Metropolis, CTS, Marcus, Matrix (various), Olympic, Townhouse, Sarm, Ridge Farm, Rockfield and Miloco. Stuart has worked with Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber, Ozzy Osborne, Dave Grohl, Paul Weller, Peter Green, Dónal Lunny, Queen (After Freddie), Oasis, LSO, Brian Eno, Status Quo, Elton John Band and Blur, along with many top session musicians and producers. You will be able to hear the excellent sound that Stuart can mix for yourselves when you come along to a live gig at Grand Central!
