We are aware that there has been confusion regarding the relationship between Hand Brew Co and the contract brewing company, Beercraft, and we would like to clarify the position.

Hand Brew Co and Beercraft are separate and independent businesses.

We do, however, recognise how this misunderstanding may have arisen. The owner of Beercraft previously managed Hand Brew Co for several years while operating from the same site as Beercraft (and a number of other breweries). During that period, the owner increasingly focused on contract brewing through Beercraft and subsequently stepped down from their role at Hand Brew Co.

Over the years, there was some operational overlap, including team members undertaking work across both businesses and Hand Brew Co events being hosted at the shared site. We appreciate that this may have contributed to a lack of clarity.

Hand Brew Co continues to be owned and operated by its original founders, Clark and Jen Left, alongside Head Brewer and Product Director, Kate Hyde.

If you have been affected by the closure of Beercraft, we empathise deeply, but we kindly ask that you direct any enquiries to Beercraft directly, as we are unfortunately unable to assist in this matter.

We wish you all the best and thank you for your continued support.

All together!

Head Brewer Kate was up in Birmingham yesterday to collaborate on a very delicious sounding Paloma Sour with our good friends at Attic Brew Co in honour of International Womens Collaboration Brew Day

She spent a brilliant day with a gaggle of talented, fascinating and beer-curious Babs (picking up the local lingo, iykyk) brewing, learning and even throwing pottery with our old friend

We're excited to taste the final results and hope to get our hands on a few kegs and cans for our webshop and pubs, so stay tuned.

Money raised from the brew will go towards two of our favourite organisations: and
This was made possible by generous sponsorship from supplier titans and

Attendees were treated to some great talks from Paul at WHC, Steph at Crisp, and the always fascinating on the subject of Beer Festivals told via the stories of 3 women.
Kate also gave everyone a bit of a dive into the wonky world of Tower Brewing at the

Special thanks to the team at for hosting us so generously and especially to queen for putting together such a wonderful and important event.

Stay tuned for launch details and more IWD chat.

THREADS // ELDERBERRY DARK SOUR
5.5%

Threads Dark Sour is brewed with foraged wild elderberries in Collaboration with couture kaftan queen and mistress of the most spectacular of dark arts, Fumbalinas.

Elegant and extravagant, Threads is a velvety shade of deep purple in the glass, offering aromas of sharp, earthy hedgerow berries that mingle with the dark chocolate and molasses offerings of toasted malts.

A sprightly sourness and spritzy carbonation lift the aromas into lasting flavours of ripe earthiness, dark berry sweetness and just a touch of burnt bitterness delivering a compelling pentacle of flavour and balance.

Threads is our 2025 Art You Can Drink Collaboration Project.

Cans and gift packs containing limited edition Threads collection card deck and tarot guide now available on the Hand Brew Co webshop and via link in bio.

Threads collection now available via the Fumbalinas website.
