It is with great sadness that we need to let our customers and community know that our bar will be closing as of 4th November.

We have not been offered a new agreement by the Bowls Club Board that we are able to enter into.

During discussions, we were presented with a proposed agreement containing terms which, on our understanding, were incompatible with our obligations under our existing contract. We therefore could not agree to those terms.

Unfortunately, the Board has subsequently decided not to offer us a new contract, meaning that we will no longer be able to continue operating the bar.

We want to be clear that this is not the outcome we wanted. We would have very much liked to continue running the bar and serving the members, our customers and community who have supported us along our journey .

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported us during our time here. Thank you to our customers, staff and everyone who has been part of the bar.

We appreciate that people may have questions, but as this concerns contractual matters, there are limits to what we can appropriately discuss publicly.

Thank you for your support.
