Paddy's Day calls for a few proper Irish cheeses on the bar.

We've brought in Cooleeney, Crozier Blue and Gubbeen, three cheeses that sit very happily next to a pint of Murphy's (or even a little whiskey).

Cooleeney is a camembert style cheese - soft, buttery and a bit white mushroomy. An Irish whiskey (like our Redbreast) will lift the flavours nicely.

Crozier Blue is Ireland's only sheep's milk blue - lush, creamy and tangy - and Gubbeen is earthy, nutty and just the right side of funky. The roasted bitterness of a stout pairs nicely with either.

Though to be fair Murphy's goes well with anything.

All three are on sale now.

Cheeky little Valentine Vacherin deal!

Tomorrow only (cos it's Valentine's day), you can get a baked Vacherin with all the bits for £9 when you purchase any bottle of wine.

We've also got a new Lambrusco in from straight from heart of Emilia-Romagna! Cherry and wild strawberry, soft but lively, it's the perfect thing to chug whilst embarrassing yourself in front of your paramour. Goes great with charcuterie too.
