Looks like trivia's back on the menu!

Introducing BIG’S QUIZINE, our brand new fortnightly quiz at The Signal Post, hosted by local quizmaster & boxed wine connoisseur Big Ryan.

We'll be setting the tables for the first time on TUESDAY 25TH AUGUST at 7PM, then every other Tuesday afterwards.

£2 PER PERSON

On the menu:

The Apéritif
A table puzzle to pick at throughout the evening.

The Amuse-Bouche
10 quick-fire general knowledge questions.

Today’s Special
10 questions on a different rotating subject every quiz.

Food & Drink
10 questions covering everything from ingredients and cocktails to restaurants, brands and food culture.

The Palate Cleanser
A proper blind tasting. Could be cheese. Could be wine. Could be something else entirely. Trust your senses and bag the points.

The Pairing
Five pairs of linked answers. Find the connection and quaff the bonus point.

Last Orders
Five categories, five stakes. You’ve got 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 points to gamble, and you have to place your bets before you hear the questions.

So yes, it’s still a pub quiz, just a bit more food & drink heavy.

And yes, there will be prizes. Glorious prizes.

Bookings are open now.

For the moment, book over the bar at The Signal Post or send us a message on socials. Online bookings will be landing on the website very soon.

Mediterranean butter bean stew feat. sweet vine tomatoes, roasted butternut squash and (optional) Toulouse sausage.

I ate this one and washed it down with a big ol' glass of chilled Frappato and feel very good about it all.

Selling til it's all gone!

Too hot for hot food?

We've added a burrata salad to the menu. Ripe tomatoes, jammy figs and a great wobbling burrata, covered in basil, honey and glossy balsamic. Sweet, sharp, creamy, juicy.

Get some bread & butter involved and mop up the plate.

15% off these fizzy feckers for the foreseeable (I don't know how long to make a discount run for any more).

Three beautifully different pet-nats.

Punkista from Czechia is for the champagne rebels that hate the fussy nature of the wine world. Green apple & yeast.

Turbellent is a bright, crunchy sparkling rosé made in the ancestral way. Fresh raspberries and light.

And grown right on the South Downs chalk, Wild Combination from Titch Hill is a thoughtful and chaotic combo of 7 grapes, resulting in a juicy pet-nat. Crushed strawberries and fresh pepper.

Come grab a bottle or three.

No one wants a polite rosé.

New in for you to enjoy is a brilliant Tavel, a Southern Rhône rosé from an appellation that refuses to make anything other than rosé. No reds, no whites, just a very committed approach to drinking pink.

You can expect a round, textured and fruity fruity sip: strawberries, cherries, watermelons, peach & nectarine, with a lovely dry, refreshing finish.

Basically rosé ready for a squabble.

Drink it in the sun, drink it with snacks, drink it because it is very pretty and very delicious.

Available by the bottle or by the glass via our Coravin system!

Windows open, ceiling fans on.

Hide from the sun in proper Italian fashion with some cicchettti and a frost glass of our Timorasso, all the way from Piedmont to our Coravin.

It's a lot of flowers, white apricot, and ripe peach. Rich, mineral with a lot of structure.

Come grab a glass!

Just in time for the sun appearing we've had a delivery of

Bright, fizzy, fruity little chilli sodas. Perfect over ice on their own or mixed with something stronger if that's your thing.

Grab a couple cans from the fridges before they (or the sunshine) disappear!

I'm shocked and appalled and very impressed at the amount of beer you (and I) got through in 48 hours.

Sadly the last drop from Moonwake Beer Co. has been drunk, but we've still got some of our usual suspects on the taps if you fancy swinging through on your Sunday leg of Worthing Tap Takeover

Our pies are on today and they go very nicely with a pint of Murphy’s.
