On Saturday 14th November, we’re holding a very special Charity Race Night at The Observatory ❤️

This Christmas, Bristol Children’s Hospital is asking for help with Christmas gifts for children who will be spending their Christmas in hospital. We want to help make Christmas a little brighter for those children. 🎁✨

We’re looking for businesses, groups or individuals to sponsor a race for £100!

✨ Your £100 sponsorship includes:

👑 Your own VIP table for the evening with snacks
🏇 Your business/name as an official race sponsor
🐴 The chance to name horses in your race
📣 Promotion and announcements throughout the evening

Have some fun with your horse names — staff members, friends, family, inside jokes… whatever you fancy! 😂

We’re aware of a video currently circulating on social media showing an incident that took place outside the pub this evening.

We just wanted to clarify that the individuals involved were not customers of the pub, had not been drinking with us, and did not enter our premises.

The incident happened outside and was completely unrelated to the pub or anything taking place inside.

We’re only posting this clarification as the location is visible in the video and we don’t want there to be any misunderstanding or speculation about the pub’s involvement.

We’re looking for a friendly and reliable Part-Time Bar Staff Member to join our team at The Observatory! ❤️

We’re looking for someone who is:

✨ Friendly, confident & great with customers
🍺 Happy working in a busy pub environment
🙌 Reliable and able to work as part of a team
🌙 Available for a mixture of evenings & weekends
🎉 Comfortable working during events and busy nights

Applicants must be aged 18 or over.

Previous bar experience would be great, but it’s not essential for the right person as training can be provided.

Part-time hours with shifts to be discussed.
