£10 OFF AFTERNOON TEA? The heat must have got to us.

We’re not saying the heatwave scared everyone away… but it’s been so unusually quiet this week we’ve had time to learn all our regulars’ orders, reorganise the cake cabinet twice, and seriously consider installing a paddling pool.

Now that the UK has cooled down to a temperature that won’t melt your mascara off, we’re celebrating with a little Sunday Special.

This Sunday 28th, enjoy Afternoon Tea for Two for just £35 (usually £45), including a hot drink or soft drink each.

Expect all the good stuff: freshly prepared sandwiches, homemade scones, delicious cakes and plenty of Tipsy Teacup chaos.

One day only. £10 off. No catch. Just tea, cake and questionable business decisions.

Sooooooooo, we trialed our “Royal Tea”
(We’re still unsure of the name, feedback welcome), on some very willing guinea pigs at the weekend and it went down a storm! 😁 We may not be great at taking photos but we’re certainly great at afternoon teas! The Royal Tea included:-

- Slow roasted beef, rocket and red onion salad on ciabatta
- Slow roasted, hot pork and stuffing rolls with gravy
- Chilli cheese and red onion relish on seeded stacks
- Smoked salmon and cream cheese bagels

- Raspberry and white chocolate sponge
- Fudge flapjack slice
- Evil brownie with Double Decker
- Buried strawberry chocolate ganache pots
- Shortbread fingers with caramel dipping sauce

- Trio of mini scones - double choc, vanilla & double cheese.

And of course, lashings of clotted cream and jam!

This weeks Afternoon Tea offering is:-
Raspberry and white chocolate sponge, millionaires caramel slice, Gold Bar evil brownie and mini shortbread cookies with caramel dipping sauce! Mini scones are double choc chip, cookies and cream and cheese and chive. All accompanied with delicious home roasted meats, premium breads, and of course, too much clotted cream and jam! We DARE you to try and finish it all! ❤️

Sooooooo, last weeks Afternoon Tea offering was ..
A raspberry and white chocolate and jammie dodger blondie, caramel & fudge cake, biscoff or cookies and cream cheesecake and a funfetti shortbread biscuit, the mini scone trio were cheese & chive, chocolate orange and a simple but delicious vanilla, all accompanied with the essential clotted cream, jam, and lots of delicious sandwiches on brioche, wraps and seeded breads!
