Sooooo, whilst we’re in a ‘deal’ kinda mood, we’ve extended it to our breakfasts 😁, we do a “mean brekky”, so as we’re going to be open from Tuesday to Sunday next week, from 10.00 am, we thought we’d treat you all. We also do a ‘mini deal’ version for £9.95! (Booking essential). We’ve only got weeks left until we say goodbye, so think of it as a closing down sale 😂

As an independent business ourselves we love to support our fellow “independentee’s”, tonight we chose The Twisted Spoon in Friar Street. Technically, they are ‘competition’ so we hope you appreciate if we are raving about them, it’s completely unbiased 😁 We indulged in the Smorgasbord which was a culinary adventure, and suspect involved some sort of food sorcery, it was THAT good. Such a friendly welcome by Louise, delicious food, lovely setting, we should hate them, but we think it’s love!

Apologies! I asked Worcester News to help us try and find new proprietors not realising my mug would become the feature of the week with TWO articles and an unfortunate appearance in the front of the paper! Whilst we are very grateful for WN’s support, I’m sure there are much more newsworthy things than our wee story 😂 Feeling a tad famous after getting “spotted” in Aldi, Rock ‘n’ roll 🤘

There have been some great moments and some nightmares along the way

To clarify, we aren’t ‘selling’ our business, we’re hoping someone will take it over! This is a genuine opportunity, we’ve done the ‘hard yards’, it still needs work to get it to the next level, but it’s giving that person a “whopper” of a head start 😁

After a ‘wobbly’ couple of weeks, and a much needed break, we are back open from tomorrow. Life, heat and general shenanigans have been messing with us this past week but we’re back and we’re still Worcesters No.1 go to for all things afternoon tea, where even the mini is mighty! ❤️
