Look at this absolutely beautiful vehicle that found its way to The Retreat today!🤩

The family that own this fantastic steam train have had this in their possession since the 1960's and have been doing a brilliant job keeping it running!👏🏻

A part of history that we have the joy of seeing every year.
Our customers we're truly amazed by the train and so were we, after the excitement of seeing it again!☺️

We'd like to share our thanks and appreciation to every single person who joined us yesterday lunchtime. It was one of the best lunchtimes we had in a long time and we cannot wait to organise another one!👏🏻

A special thank you to Ian for his performance. It was absolutely fantastic and was truly enjoyed by ourselves and the customers. And to Ian's lovely wife, thank you for joining and helping with set up. We cannot wait for you to perform for us again. A true talent. Thank you!🎶

Ian is here and getting prepared to perform for all our lovely customers booked in today!👏🏻
The kitchen staff are organising the kitchen to ensure each and everyone of you get served the most delicious food!🤩
And the rest of us are preparing the front of house to serve cool and refreshing drinks!🍺

We are working hard to make sure you all enjoy your visit at The Retreat Inn and we ask you all to understand that if you feel the heat, we can feel it too so if we're sat in the shade, having a drink or simply just taking a moment for ourselves, it's just to allow us to cool down!☀️
