Cook Required
*Seasonal position (May -Oct 2026)*

We are looking for a second chief in command.

We require someone able to keep up the pace in our busy galley kitchen sharing the duties of;
Food prep, Cooking, Service and Washing up.

Shared duties will be required on:
Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and EVERY Bank Holiday Monday.
There will also be a solo shift every Tuesday lunchtime.

Food Hygeine Certificates are necessary

'Hale & Pace' waiting to greet the first customers today...

It's been a misty start but that sun will soon peak through for a "loverly" day today

We are limited to outdoor furniture. Don't forget our gardens and surrounding fields were under water last month.
Please please please keep furniture, bicycles and any other wheeled contraptions off the grass until we can open the garden...it wont be long if this fine weather continues

We don't need extended open hours for the government to tax more off us. We need tax relief for an industry that is "vital to our economy" (Quote: British Government)

Pubs and bars could see extended opening hours as the government launches a fast-track a review on "outdated" licensing rules.
