Join us for a summer stay here at the Rodney, right on the Worcestershire Way. We’re nestled on a hillside in idyllic countryside yet remarkably well-connected

We’re surrounded by breathtaking scenery, with the Malvern Hills to our south, the Welsh Marches to our west and the beautiful cathedral city of Worcester just 15 minutes away.

We offer delicious homemade meals with ingredients from local suppliers (the beef comes from within 5 miles!). We have 12 rooms, some in the inn and some in the grounds, all of which have their own charm and character.

Rebirth of the Admiral Rodney

The moment we saw The Admiral Rodney we knew we wanted to bring it back to life. It had closed its doors a few years earlier and was in a bit of a sorry state. But we loved the position, on the side of a hill overlooking the City of Worcester and the Malvern Hills, tucked away just outside the lovely village of Martley.

A year or so after we bought the place, we re-opened its doors after a major refurbishment. We’ve tried to give the place its character back, with lots of colour and bold fabrics. But the real star at the Rodney is the food and drink. All our beers and ciders are local, and the kitchen focuses on what’s fresh and seasonal.

Our rooms are completely refurbished, and done to the highest standards with Egyptian cotton bedding, Nespresso machines and power showers.

We’d love to welcome you to the Admiral Rodney and we hope you love it as much as we do!
