We are on the hunt for skilled local tradesmen to join us in transforming Darcys, an up-and-coming exciting project set to open in 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development of a landmark venue in the community.

The first phase of the project involves constructing internal walls to create fresh, functional spaces within the building. We have detailed architectural drawings available for review to help guide the work.

In addition to builders, we are also eager to connect with local:
Plumbers, Electricians & Fire alarm system installers.

Exciting News, Wooler! Premises License Approved!
We are thrilled to announce that the premises license for Darcy's has now been approved! This was our final application to be approved, and now we can focus on bringing a brand new contemporary bistro concept to Wooler High Street.
We would love to take the time to say a huge thank you to everyone who submitted letters of support and have continued to champion the project so far. Your encouragement and enthusiasm made this possible. We can't wait to be a hub for the community and welcome you all to Darcy's when we open later this year.

📣 Community Support Needed!

To our neighbours in Wooler, we need your help!

Sadly, our premise license application has received a representation and the outcome will be determined by a licensing hearing. This could potentially have major impact in allowing us to bring life back into a derelict building of the old Barclays Bank, transforming it into a modern contemporary bistro for you all to enjoy. The premise license application is our final hurdle to allow us to deliver our concept of Darcy’s with delicious food and drink, background music and occasional live music events.

A transformation is about to get underway...
After a long and arduous 14 month journey of negotiation, we're thrilled to announce we've been given the green light on our planning permission for the conversion of our Grade II listed former Barclays Bank building.

After a 14 month negotiation with Northumberland Council, Bart & Taylor are thrilled to announce permission granted for Darcy's, Wooler.
