Live Blues on a Sunday afternoon - come and join us.

We are delighted to be hosting another impromptu appearance of the “Methersgate Blue Orchestra” here at the Angel this Sunday afternoon.

Featuring a rare appearance of the legend Vernon Northover on UK soil - He’s US based now, but was a stalwart of the London blues scene in the 60’s & 70’s, playing in Syze Nine & Shades of Midnight as well as numerous other groups before moving Stateside and forming the British Yankee Blues Band

He’ll be supported by the rest of the group & there’s even rumour of Steven Hodd joining them as well…

Hearing musicians of this calibre is rare enough let alone one with FREE ENTRY in Woodbridge!

A complete switch-up for me to play an R'n'B Session but with so many fantastic tunes in the 90's and 00's, it's irresistable to do it.
