Lovely pub walks around the dever valley. Pop-up food nights. Huge Lo-no alcohol range. Outside Beach Real Ales and fine wines and 200 Gins are what we are all about here at The Wonston. We are a Free House which means we are free to choose what we serve when we want to serve it, we are not tied or connected to any Brewery who tell is what to do. We listen to our customers and we pride ourselves in our carefully kept cask conditioned real ales. We don't do Food...but on Friday night we have curry night , where you place your order by midday Friday from our menu and its delivered to your table at 7 30pm, by the Gurkha Inn in Winchester. Wednesday Nights Darren from Catch a Fire Pizza pops by the Pub with his wood fired Pizza Oven & serves amazing Pizzas. He also alternates it with his Fish & Chip Van. 🎭🖤 WAS IT ALL JUST A DREAM?! 🖤🎭

The morning after the night before… and Lisa Faye is wondering whether last night’s WONSTON GOTHIC MASQUERADE really happened! 👻🍷

Just a few hours ago, The Wonston Arms was a world of mystery, outrageous costumes, incredible music, laughter and absolute Halloween madness! 🦇💀

And now? Lisa’s somehow transformed the scene of the crime back into our lovely little village pub… although the rather suspicious collection of items on our LOST PROPERTY SHELF suggests it wasn’t entirely a dream! 😂🎩👠

❤️ BUT HERE’S THE BIGGEST THANK YOU OF ALL…

To EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU who made the effort, dressed up, threw yourselves into the spirit of the night and brought such extraordinary energy through our doors…

🃏 UNO… WE MIGHT BE ONTO SOMETHING! 🍻

Well, that was a rather fun Thursday night! 😂

After weeks of plotting, planning and wondering whether anyone would actually turn up… we finally gave our first-ever Wonston UNO Thursday Challenge a go!

Behind the closed red velvet curtains of the Badger Suite, a lovely bunch of locals gathered for a few drinks, some fiercely competitive card games and an awful lot of laughter.

And you know what? It worked! ❤️

Who knew a pack of UNO cards could cause quite so much excitement in a little village pub? 😂

A big thank you to everyone who helped us test the idea tonight.

Something tells us this won’t be the last one…

❤️ TIME TO REMEMBER. TIME TO GIVE. 🌺

As Remembrance Day approaches, we’re proud to once again be supporting the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal here at The Wonston Arms.

It’s a time to remember those who gave so much, to honour those who served, and to show our appreciation for the sacrifices made by so many.

We’ve got our Poppy Appeal collection tin on the bar, and we’d love everyone popping in for a pint over the coming days to drop in a little spare change if they can.

A few pennies, a pound or two… it all adds up and helps support our Armed Forces community, veterans and their families.

From all of us at the best little pub in Hampshire, thank you for helping us support such a worthwhile cause. ❤️

We will remember them. 🌺

💀🦴 WILLIE’S GONE TO DOGGY HEAVEN! 😂🐾

Our favourite pub dog Willie popped into The Wonston Arms with his mum and dad today… and quite frankly, he couldn’t believe his luck!

With all our Halloween decorations going up, there were SKELETONS EVERYWHERE! 💀💀💀

And to Willie, that meant just one thing…

BONES. BONES. AND MORE BONES!! 🦴🤣

Like a kid let loose in a sweet shop, he simply didn’t know where to look first!

Well, we couldn’t have the poor lad leaving empty-pawed, could we?

So naturally, Willie got to take a bone home of his very own! 😂❤️

Only at The Wonston Arms. Even the dogs love Halloween! 🎃🐾
