Lovely pub walks around the dever valley. Pop-up food nights. Huge Lo-no alcohol range. Outside Beach Real Ales and fine wines and 200 Gins are what we are all about here at The Wonston. We are a Free House which means we are free to choose what we serve when we want to serve it, we are not tied or connected to any Brewery who tell is what to do. We listen to our customers and we pride ourselves in our carefully kept cask conditioned real ales. We don't do Food...but on Friday night we have curry night , where you place your order by midday Friday from our menu and its delivered to your table at 7 30pm, by the Gurkha Inn in Winchester. Wednesday Nights Darren from Catch a Fire Pizza pops by the Pub with his wood fired Pizza Oven & serves amazing Pizzas. He also alternates it with his Fish & Chip Van. Darren from Catch A Fire is back on the beach with his ever-popular pop-up food shack, serving enormous gourmet burgers and those outrageously delicious Butter Chicken Loaded Fries 🤤🍟

Tomorrow we’re throwing the doors open from 12 MIDDAY and settling in for one of those wonderfully relaxed Bank Holiday afternoons that we love at the Wonston.

And from 3pm–5pm, we’ve got something rather special…

🎤 LISA FAYE — LIVE AT THE WONSTON! 🎤

Lisa will be dipping into her Summer Songbook for a couple of hours of gorgeous live music, familiar favourites and plenty of feel-good tunes.

And yes… that little superstar in the photo really IS Lisa@, making her very first stage appearance back in the 1970s! ❤️😂

So the plan is wonderfully simple:

We’ve been proud supporters of CAMRA – the Campaign for Real Ale since the day we opened the doors of The Wonston Arms over 11 years ago. ❤️🍺

So we’re delighted to give a big shout-out to our friends at North Hampshire CAMRA, who are back with their brilliant annual Basingstoke Beer Festival!
