Good evening everyone it is with a heavy heart that we announce as a family we will be moving on and ending our tenancy at Mcghees while the pub will continue to operate it will do so under new management and a new name The Irish Wolf and Harp we want to thank you all for friendship and custom over the last 24 years we have made and lost wonderful friends and magical memories we will carry with us forever we always considered McGhees as an extension of our home and tried to make everyone feel they had a safe place to come and drink laugh and enjoy the craic! We will obviously miss you all greatly and again want to thank you for sharing this mad wonderful sometimes crazy journey with us The McGhee family

Wolves fan Mitch Middleton has passed away peacefully after a long and brave battle with cancer.

His family have asked if it would be possible for those in attendance tomorrow night to join in with a minutes applause on the 29th minute as a mark of respect.
