We’re absolutely delighted to be reopening our doors tomorrow and welcoming all our amazing customers back.

There’s been plenty going on behind the scenes, and we can’t wait for you all to come in, see the changes, grab a drink and enjoy the pub with us again!

Before we close for our refurbishment, we’re open all this week until Sunday, so why not join us for a delicious Sunday roast or one of your other favourite dishes! 🍽️🍺

Just a reminder that we will be closed from 10th August until 28th August while we give the front of house a fresh new look. We’ll be repainting throughout, creating more restaurant seating, adding an extra bar, and putting together some exciting new menus and dishes ready for our return.

We’ll be back open on Friday 28th August with our normal opening hours.

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support us – we really appreciate it and can’t wait to welcome you back to see all the changes! ❤️

⭐ We Did It – 5 Stars! ⭐

We’re absolutely delighted to share that our village pub has now been awarded a 5-Star Food Hygiene Rating.

Many of you know we’ve been continuously fighting for what we believed was the right outcome. The process of challenging the original assessment and dealing with the council was incredibly stressful and, at times, very frustrating. Despite the setbacks, we never stopped standing up for ourselves because we knew the standards we work to every single day.

❤️Most importantly, we want to say a heartfelt thank you to our amazing local community. The messages, kind words, encouragement, and continued support you’ve shown us throughout this difficult time have meant more than we could ever put into words. You stood by us, believed in us, and continued to support us when it mattered most. We are truly grateful and feel so lucky to be part of such a wonderful village❤️

We’re incredibly proud of our team and remain committed to providing the highest standards of food hygiene and service for our wonderful community.

Here’s to many more happy meals, great conversations, laughter, celebrations, and wonderful memories made together.🥂🍻🍾🍺

Just wanted to say a proper thank you to everyone who came down for the b**r festival.
Whether you popped in for one or stayed all day (you know who you are 😄), couldn’t do it without you.
From familiar faces to new ones, it really meant a lot to see the pub full of laughter, great conversations, and a shared love of good village vibes.

Massive thanks as well to the team for all their hard work 🙏

Couldn’t have asked for a better turnout ,already looking forward to the next one!
