Walpole Water Gardens is a 3/4 acre garden that is definitely very different. The garden is sheltered from the wind, faces south and is a real sun trap. So don't expect a traditional garden, but if you want to

escape for an hour or so from reality then come and visit. We now have a licensed bar so come and relax by the ponds with a cold drink. We also have probably the best value tea room in East Anglia! The Gallery features the work of International artist Peter Cousins who also teaches art classes on site. Peter built the gardens, so if you want to come and pick his brains on how to build ponds and create a garden with an exotic ambience please do. So if we have piqued your interest please pay us a visit.

We are open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12. Also open bank holiday Mondays. We don't have a cook at the moment so bring a picnic if you want but drinks and beverages should be purchased from the bar.

Friday night the Mayor, David Whitby, is officially opening the Black Swan Restaurant at Walpole Water Gardens at 7.30 pm. Sir Henry Bellingham M.P. will also be in attendance and will be delighted to meet any of you who have time to attend. You are all welcome to pop in.
