Clansman Function Room - Entertainment Events - FREE to hire for any occasion. The room is very flexible for table and chair layouts & dance floor arrangements. It can accommodate 100+ people. Free use of an ipod driven music and laser system. Food can be provided from full sit down meals, buffets or snacks. Real Ales - We have up to 6 rotating real ales every week. Featuring many famous Local and National breweries, plus classics like Fullers London Pride. We also have regular Ale and Cider festivals. Open Fire - Roaring real open fire creating a warm cosy atmosphere in the Autumn and Winter months.

Our festive menus are here, and we're excited to start planning your celebrations with you.

🦃 Christmas Celebration Menu
Served 27th November to 23rd December, with two courses for £30 or three courses for £35. Choose from favourites like Iberico Ham Croquettes, Winter Squash Soup, Traditional Roast Turkey, Braised Pork Ribeye and a rich Chocolate & Orange Torte, with vegan and gluten-free options available. Bookings are with pre-order only.

🥂 Christmas Party Buffet Menu
Perfect for bigger groups, our buffet is £25 per head (minimum 30 people) and served 27th November to 23rd December. Expect pulled BBQ turkey sliders, honey glazed pigs in blankets, mulled w**e glazed ham, mini mince pies and much more.

We'll also have festive specials on throughout December, alongside our winter menu, so whether it's a big night out or a quiet lunch, there's always something seasonal to enjoy.

Our newly refurbished Clansman Function Room is available to hire completely free of charge, making it ideal for birthdays, weddings, corporate events, and private parties.

The room is also home to our popular Quiz Night every Thursday, starting at 7:30pm 🧠

Hosted by Ian Falconer, it’s just £2 per person with cash prizes, brain teasers, and a wide range of general knowledge questions — a great option if you’re planning a more social or informal gathering.

Big week at The Waterman’s Arms 🍻⚽🧠

Join us every Thursday for Quiz Night, hosted by Ian Falconer.

Quiz starts at 7:30pm, with plenty of brain teasers, general knowledge questions and cash prizes to be won. Entry is just £2 per person, so gather your team and come down for a great evening.

We’ll also be showing England vs DR Congo in the FIFA World Cup Round of 32 on Wednesday 1st July, with kick off at 5pm.
