Wanted: Local exterior decorators.

The Elleray Hotel is in dire need of a quality external redecoration. I want the work to go ahead as soon as possible and have payment ready, including a small but generous grant from Bowness And Windermere Forward (a local charity)

I have received a few quotes for the work already but I'm not sure that I want to go with any of them yet: The lowest quote was from some out of town guys that did some recent work for a nearby business and it's already peeling, the highest quote was nearly 5x the price and way out of our budget.

We're a very prominently located pub and, while we're happy to spend the right amount of money on this job, we're not so flush that we can afford to have to do it again in a couple of years: It needs to be a quality job.

With all of that in mind, a proposal: For the right local painter that can quote us a good price for good work, we'd be willing to place a permanent A3 advertisement sign for your business on the Victoria Road elevation of the pub (For those familiar, on the corner nearest the optician, next to where we currently have the Sky Sports banner.)

As we are receiving funding from BWForward, the advertisement would have to be tasteful and in keeping with the charm of the village.

It would have a total printable/paintable area of A3 size, surrounded by a black frame in keeping with our other signage. It would be mounted at eye level for maximum exposure to passing footfall and vehicles.

Remember we're at the slow bit at the top of the village, so there's plenty traffic slowing down and getting bored there, lots of people will see and read the advert right next to a great example of your work.
