Lenni is raising money to travel with The Lakes School & Camps international to Kenya in July 2027 for 4 weeks. We are proud to be supporting Lenni in our upcoming Football Evening with Jan Molby on the 23rd of June. Tables still available, bookable on our website.
While in Kenya Lenni will be:
Building Classrooms & Housing:
He’ll be getting stuck into some serious construction—mixing cement and laying bricks to build school classrooms and desks so more local kids can get an education.
Clean Water Projects: One of the big jobs is installing water tanks and guttering systems. This is huge for the villages because it means they’ll have a sustainable source of clean water right where they live.
Public Health:
He’ll be helping to improve local sanitation (building toilets and wash facilities) to help stop the spread of preventable diseases in the community.
Wildlife & Environment: He’ll be working on "de-snaring" projects to protect endangered animals from poachers and helping with reforestation to protect the local landscape.
Living Locally: He won't be in a hotel; he’ll be living in a camp within the community, experiencing exactly what life is like for the people there while he works.
The money raised at the Brown Horse raffle goes toward the "expedition kit" and the project materials. Essentially, the raffle tickets pay for the bricks, the cement, and the tools Lenni will be using to actually build those schools.
