🎉🥳🍾 10 YEARS OF THE BUTCHER’S DOG! 🍾🥳🎉
This September marks 10 years of The Butcher’s Dog, Wimborne — and what a decade it’s been.
Since we opened our doors in September 2016, so many of you have walked through them. You came in as first time customers and somewhere along the way, became familiar faces, regulars and friends. ❤️
We’ve watched staff members who started out behind our bar go on to build successful careers in the b**r industry all over the world — something we’re incredibly proud of.
We’ve shared some unforgettable moments together: Wimborne Folk Festival, Christmas celebrations, street parties, World Cups, Rugby screenings, and plenty of nights that probably shouldn’t make it onto social media! 🍻
We’ve learnt together too — from monthly bottle clubs and tap takeovers to discovering new breweries, b**rs and styles along the way. 🍺
And then came Covid. We couldn’t have imagined what was around the corner when we opened in 2016, and getting through those difficult times was only possible because of you. Queuing outside for takeaway b**rs, ordering little packs for delivery and continuing to support us when times were incredibly uncertain meant more than we can say.
Most of all, we’re proud to have been part of such a wonderful community. We’ve seen Wimborne change, grow and evolve — and we’ve been incredibly lucky to have grown alongside it.
10 years has been amazing. It’s also been challenging, exhausting, hilarious and occasionally held together with duct tape. 😂
But we’re still here. Still pouring good b**r. Still making memories.
And we couldn’t have done it without you.
So thank you. ❤️
